How to upload and insert image into article
From TomatoCMS Documentation
From the first released version, TomatoCMS allows you to upload and insert image into article easily. In addition to this, TomatoCMS creates thumbnails in various sizes automatically.
I assume that you are at page of adding/editing article.
To upload new images, click on Browse button in the Multimedia section at the right sidebar.
Browse your images on local computer and click Open button to start uploading.
One important thing is that you can select multiple images at the same time as long as total size don't exceed the maximum upload size defined by your server (default is 2MB). The supported formats includes gif, jpg, jpeg and png.
After that, you will see the uploading progress. You can click on (x) button (marked as (1) in below image) to cancel the uploading.
The uploading also creates thumbnails in various size for each image. Actually, there're 6 thumbnail sizes listed as follow:
- square: 60 x 60 pixels cropped from the original
- general: 160 x 160 pixels resized from the original
- small: 240 x 240 pixels resized from the original
- crop: 300 x 225 pixels cropped from the original
- medium: 450 x 450 pixels resized from the original
- large: 640 x 640 pixels resized from the original
You can click on the size (3) to insert the corresponding thumbnail to article or click on the image (2) to set it as presentation image of article.
